Wedding Bus Rental in Stockholm – Transport for Your Guests

Rent a wedding bus with a professional driver in Stockholm and every guest arrives together, on time and with nobody driving home afterwards. We run vehicles from 5 to 57 seats — ceremony-to-venue transfers, hotel shuttles through the evening and scheduled late-night departures — at a fixed all-in price agreed before the day.

What does it cost to hire a wedding bus in Stockholm?

A wedding budget has no room for surprises afterwards. The price is set per vehicle, not per seat, and you get a fixed total price before the wedding day – even if the schedule between the ceremony, the photographs and the reception runs late. The price always includes the driver, fuel, road tolls, the Stockholm congestion charge, parking and 6% VAT. For weddings spread over several days the driver's accommodation and allowance are included as well.

Our prices are based on two setups, depending on what you need:

1. Point to point – fixed price per trip

You pay a fixed price for the leg from A to B — the office to Arlanda, for instance. Minibus (5–16 seats) from 1 400 kr and touring coach (49–57 seats) from 3 100 kr per trip.

2. Hourly charter – the coach at your disposal

The bus is at your disposal for a set number of hours — a conference day, sightseeing or a match day. Touring coach (49–57 seats) from 3 100 kr for one hour within Stockholm.

Coaches for wedding transport in Stockholm

When you rent a wedding bus with a driver in Stockholm you choose from vehicles seating 5 to 57. Below is the whole fleet: six touring coaches with 49–57 seats and three Mercedes minibuses with 8–16 seats, each listed with its registration number and seat count.

Wedding transport in Stockholm, from the ceremony to the last guest home

A wedding is not one journey, it is four or five of them spread over twelve hours. We cover the whole day rather than a single transfer.

  • Ceremony to reception: the bus is waiting when the ceremony ends, so the whole party arrives together and in time for the drinks reception.
  • Hotel and city shuttles: a looping service between the venue, the guest hotels and central Stockholm through the afternoon and evening.
  • Late-night departures: scheduled runs home or back to the hotels, so nobody drives and nobody waits in a taxi queue at one in the morning.
  • The couple and the closest family: a separate vehicle for the two of you, the parents or the wedding party, with room for the dress.

Which vehicle for which part of the day

Most weddings we drive use more than one vehicle, or the same vehicle in more than one role. The guest list decides the size; the moment in the day decides the type.

From an 8-seater to a 57-seat coach

  • Mercedes V-Class, 8 seats: the couple, the parents or the wedding party. Leather seats, privacy glass and an unusually large luggage area — with 2–3 passengers it takes 6–8 large 28-inch suitcases, which is what makes it work for a wedding dress and the overnight bags.
  • Mercedes Sprinter, 16 seats: a small wedding, or the shuttle that runs while the big coach is parked. High roof, individually reclining seats and a separate luggage compartment.
  • Touring coach, 49–57 seats: the whole guest list in one vehicle. Reclining seats, climate control and a large hold under the floor.

Your driver

Every booking includes a professional driver — we do not rent out vehicles for self-drive, so no one from the wedding party has to stay sober behind a wheel.

  • Certified: all of our drivers hold the Swedish professional competence certificate (YKB).
  • Swedish and English: guests travelling in from abroad can talk to the driver directly, and so can your toastmaster when the schedule moves.
  • Alcohol interlock in every vehicle: the engine only starts once the driver has passed the breath test.

Venues and routes around Stockholm

Wedding venues in this region are rarely next to a metro station. That is precisely why a bus is worth booking: the further out the venue, the more the transport decides whether the day runs smoothly.

Where we usually drive

  • In the city: Djurgården, Gamla Stan, Stadshuset and the ceremony venues and restaurants of the inner city — short runs, but the ones where parking is hardest.
  • Palaces and manor houses: Drottningholm, and the estates around Lake Mälaren where the last few kilometres are country road.
  • The archipelago and the ferry terminals: transfers timed to the boat, with the group kept together on both legs.
  • Out in the county: Sigtuna, Uppsala and venues further from the city, where guests would otherwise need two changes and a taxi.

Building the timeline

Send us the ceremony time and the venue and we work backwards from there — pick-up points, how long the transfer really takes on a Saturday in June, and how many loops the shuttle needs to fit everyone.

  • Several pick-up points: hotels, the ceremony venue and a city meeting point can all be in the same run.
  • Waiting time is planned, not improvised: if the bus is booked to stand by between the ceremony and the reception, that is in the quote.
  • Speeches run long: tell us the intended departure and we hold it — the driver coordinates with your toastmaster on the night.

What a wedding bus costs in Stockholm

You get a fixed total price before the day, and that price is what you pay. A point-to-point run starts at 1 400 kr for a 5–16 seat minibus and 3 100 kr for a 49–57 seat coach. A full wedding day is usually priced by the hour instead — the hourly table above shows the rates for our 49–57 seat coaches, from three hours up to eight.

FAQ

How much does a wedding bus in Stockholm cost?

The price for a wedding bus depends on the route, the hours and the size of the vehicle, but you always get a fixed total price in advance. As a point of reference, a point-to-point run starts at 1 400 kr for a 5–16 seat minibus and 3 100 kr for a 49–57 seat coach. A whole wedding day is normally priced by the hour — the hourly table on this page gives the rates for our 49–57 seat coaches, from three to eight hours.

Are the driver, fuel and tolls included in the price?

Yes. The quote is an all-in price with no hidden fees: the professional driver, fuel, the vehicle, road tolls, the Stockholm congestion charge, parking and Swedish VAT at 6% are all in the figure you are given. If the booking runs over more than one day, the driver’s accommodation and allowance are included too.

Which vehicles can we choose between for a wedding?

An 8-seat Mercedes V-Class for the couple, the parents or the wedding party; a 16-seat Mercedes Sprinter for a smaller wedding or a shuttle that runs alongside the main vehicle; and 49–57 seat touring coaches when the whole guest list travels in one bus. Many weddings combine two — a VIP minibus for the couple and a coach for the guests.

Can the bus wait between the ceremony and the reception?

Yes, and it is better to plan it than to improvise it. Tell us where the standby time falls and how long you expect it to be, and it goes into the schedule and the quote. Because the price is fixed, waiting time that was agreed in advance does not turn into a surcharge afterwards.

What happens if the speeches run long and the bus has to leave later?

Your driver coordinates with the toastmaster or whoever is running the evening, and holds the departure. Weddings rarely finish exactly on schedule and we plan for that — with a fixed all-in price there is no unexpected charge for the extra driver time when the evening overruns.

Do you drive to venues outside central Stockholm?

Yes. We drive across the whole county and beyond it — Drottningholm and the manor houses around Lake Mälaren, the archipelago ferry terminals, Sigtuna, Uppsala and venues further out. The price is based on the actual distance between the ceremony venue, the reception and the guest accommodation.

How far in advance should we book?

As early as you can for a wedding in the summer half of the year — Saturdays in June, July and August are the first dates to go. Once the booking is confirmed you can still adjust the details, and cancellation is free up to 72 hours before departure.
